Once a Mexican restaurant some finishes were retained to echo the hint of southwestern
flavoring found in the predominately French / Asian cuisine.

The French influence underlines the culinary training of the master chef who's cultural
roots are found in Indo-China.  The hint of a lush tropical atmosphere provides for a
comfortable dining experience indicative of the French Colonial restaurants of the period.

A gently curving banquet built into a low screen wall separates the bar from the dining
room to the right.  A full height window wall was added to improved natural lighting and
provide access to a new dining patio to the left (not shown)

This restaurant was fully equipped for buffet dining with two hot lines, a cold salad line
and desert bar. The buffet lines were finished in a ruby granite and floor and wall wainscots
were surfaced in imported Chinese slate.  Wall murals added to the Indo-China experience.

Details included etched slate tiles and tiled and lighted bollards in the patio enclosure wall.
Ornamental ironwork between these bollard elements was stylized with Chinese decorative
                                             forms.
